Wide range of surface treatments
Options include aluminum anodizing, various aluminum passivations with painting pretreatments, powder coating, chemical nickel, glossy, chrome plating (Chrome 3+ Trivalent, eco-chrome), satin chrome plating (matte chrome plating), tinning and electro-galvanizing with several passivation options.
In addition, we can combine different surface treatments on the same product to achieve the best result. For example, an attractive powder coating can be painted on top of a galvanized product.
Control and resbonsibilty
Our customers consist of globally operating furniture, electronics and heavy industry companies.
The quality and layer thickness of the coatings are closely monitored with Piiroinen’s own salt spray cabinet and a layer thickness measuring device based on X-rays.
Process water is recycled in the company’s own water treatment plant. New investments that reduce the environmental impact also include a pre-treatment process based on nanoceramics in powder coating and clear chromium plating with trivalent chromium, Chrome 3+ Trivalent.
