The building stands as a testament to passionate teamwork. In just over a year, a striking arena rose from a hayfield — one that meets even European standards. Piiroinen delivered the stands on schedule, despite the tight construction timeline.
Covering 7,000 square metres, the arena offers 3,600 spectator seats. Around the court, Piiroinen supplied 2,362 fixed seats, handrails, and telescopic tribunes.

Seating at IKH Arena
The Piiroinen AP 19 is an upholstered spectator seat designed especially for telescopic stands.
At IKH Arena, the upholstery colours and backrest kick plates were customised to perfectly match the space and the client’s wishes.
Character through seating and versatility through telescopic design
The IKH Arena stands were furnished with Piiroinen AP 19 and AP 20 seats with armrests. The upholstery colours were customised to match the arena and Karhubasket brand colours. Thanks to the counterweight mechanism, the foldable seats operate smoothly and silently.
The telescopic stands located at the ends of the court can be retracted during concerts or fairs, revealing more of the elegant maple parquet flooring.
