Renewed Pyynikki Summer Theatre

Pyynikki Summer Theatre is a covered outdoor theatre located in Pyynikki, Tampere, and is especially known for its revolving auditorium.

It is one of the largest summer theatres in Finland and the longest continuously operating open‐air theatre in the country. The newly refurbished auditorium offers 821 seats.

Environmentally friendly seating

The Summer Theatre stand were furnished with Piiroinen Olympia seats. Olympia is an environmentally friendly outdoor spectator seat manufactured from wood-composite material. The wood-composite, made from recycled thermowood chips, provides a warm touch and has a small carbon footprint.

The seat is durable and easy to maintain. Its colour can be customised to suit the space and preferences. The foldable seat facilitates movement and cleaning.
